We were able to fix the furnace and provide financial aid to this family that has helped our community for years. We made enough money for the furnace, duct work, parts, and other odds and ends to make them comfortable and even had money left over to give to them in their time of need. There was enough funds raised by the amazing community of New Mexico that we were able to cover all costs and then some.
I was able to give the family the full amount raised for the raffle alone (amounting to just under $400) and the rest was paid for out of the remaining monies.
I would like to personally thank everyone for helping me pull this together. I could not have done it without your help. We came together as a community to help a family that has supported our community for years. Thank you everyone who shared the event, bought raffle tickets, donated raffle items, showed up for the party, donated time and effort, pledged money and labor, and SPECIAL THANKS to the NM Clubhouse! I could not be more humbled by this experience and I am proud to serve the State of New Mexico as Ms. Corazon Leather 2016!

Education at the Wet Munch 6-18-17
Tonights topic: 'Frida Miles' on "Confessions of a Predator"
For over fifteen years, Frida was part of the sex industry, and become an authority in the art of seduction for profit. In the early 2000s, Frida joined the NM Fetish community and has since presented for local, regional, and national conferences addressing issues of gender, sex, sexuality, class, body autonomy, and race. "Confession of a Predator" allows community members to address the fact that predators are everywhere and everyone has the potential of being- or becoming predatory. The workshop covers the following:
What is a predator?
Who is a predator?
Why was I a Predator?
How was I a Predator?
What do 'We' as a community do to perpetuate a safe space for predators?
What can be done to prevent such behavior?
This workshop is designed to help community members recognize predators and predatory behavior. This workshop is not designed to be a form of individual or group therapy. While this will be a safe and welcoming space the nature of the workshop could be troublesome for some people. Please be aware of your stimuli and triggers.
